1st Place 🥇

Marigondon Elementary School celebrates Filipino Values Month in November 2022. The selected students from the different levels participate this School-Based Activity in Poster Making contest for Grade 6 pupils only, Slogan contest, and Coloring Contest. This year's theme: "Pagpapaunlad ng Pagkatao, Pakikigkapuwa at Pananampalataya: Hamon sa Panahon ng Pandemya". This activity aims the following:

  • Promote Filipino Values and Culture and create moral awakening and national consciousness on human values that are unique, genuine, and positively Filipino.
  • Sustain and revitalize the practice of caring for others, treating others with respect and dignity, and assisting others to become better persons starting from the family.
  • Encourage support and participation of the schools in elementary and secondary, and
  • Build strong partnership of the stakeholders.

Since she's in Grade 6 level and have a heart & past experiences in drawing competition, her class adviser Mrs. Tuazon requested her to join the Poster Making Contest. It's a 1-day notification so she did one practice at home and one final piece on the spot of the contest. According to her, after more than an hour she finished her masterpiece. She sounded exhausted to me as she narrates her experience on that day but full of content and happiness of course because her masterpiece landed on the 1st Place 🥇. She will now compete on the next level of the competition, the District Level. Good luck, Tinker! 👸♡
