November will never be complete without UNO Celebration in Marigondon Elementary School. This year, Tinker is on 2nd grade. Each grade level is assigned to different continents. The Grade 2 classes are assigned to countries in Africa. Tinker with her classmates represented the country of Nigeria. Her national costume was patterned to the national costume contest of Ms. Universe 2013 wore by Ms. Nigeria 2013 Stephanie Okwu. More info at this link.
Making the Nigeria national costume took around 6 hours to make using handicraft. Materials used were native hat, feather, gift wrapper, tie wire, plastic beads, cloth, black leotard,and twines. To bind them all, glue gun and fabric glue were used.
